Broadcast #5 Nears Completion
The 5th KMDP Broadcast Is Almost Ready To Air • 11/5/2026
◆ The next broadcast set to air on KMDP-TV is almost ready for broadcasting. The goal is for this new program line-up to be available right here on KMDPTV.com! A system is currently in development that will allow us to inject a video feed directly into the "Watch Live" page of the site. We are also upgrading our analog transmiter to support multi-channel stereo audio. More information on this tranmitter upgrade, as well as a planned air date for broadcast #5 will be released soon on the main YouTube channel. As always, stay tuned...
KMDP Site Moves On From Neocities
The KMDP Website Is Now Independantly Hosted • 11/5/2026
◆ As of right now, the most up-to-date version of this website is live at www.KMDPTV.com! There, we will be able to deliver a more desireable end user experience. One such immediate change, is the addition of a live temperature readout for Springfield. Support for retro web browers, as well as a digital live stream of KMDP broadcasts is coming soon. The neocities page is now depricated, only being used for testing purposes. The main site is now being hosted on a virtual private server under Digital Ocean, which gives us more customizability. More updates will be made over time. Stay tuned...
Website Now In Development!
KMDP Makes The Jump Into Cyberspace • 9/11/2026
◆ Right now, currenly under construction, is a new website for KMDP-TV! It's being developed in Neocities; a revival of the Geocities web hosting/development platform from the early days of the internet. We're targeting the look and feel of the internet before corporate greed had its way with it. We've taken inspiration from various archived websites of the "Web 1.0" era, turning to local Springfield station websites of the time for pointers on style and layout. The KSPR site circa 2003 (then branded as www.springfield33.com) has served as our main source of inspiration. Our goal is to eventually move to our own domain once the base site reaches full functionality. Updates will be made over time. Stay tuned...
Broadcast #5
KMDP To Return From Hiatus • 9/11/2026
◆ We've started working on our fifth broadcast mix! The program line-up has yet to be finalized, and we're still looking to fill advertisment spots. However, this next broadcast will feature our new and improved logo, some new music for program bumpers and station ID segments, as well as some new animations to help make our station feel more polished. We're excited to present more programing to you all, and will post updates as things are finalized. If you are an artist interested in featuring a music video or advertisment for our next broadcast, please contact us. We look forward to hearing from you!
Merchandise
An Unrealized Endeavor • 9/11/2026
◆ The prospect of selling merchandise for our viewers enjoyment is very exciting to us! However, we would like the website to be in a functional and presentable state before making that jump. We've gotten some feedback on what products our viewers would want from us, and they are being taken into consideration. T-shirts, stickers, and mugs are something we will look into producing. No reasearch has been done on suppliers or digital storefronts, so there is currently no timeline on when such products would become available. If you have any feedback on what products we should offer, or insight on selling merch online, fill out the survey form linked at the bottom of this page, or contact us. Viewer feedback is always apprecated! Stay tuned...
YouTube Partners!
Moondream Channel Now A Part of YouTube Partnership Program • 9/11/2026
Dear viewers,
◆ As of September, 2026, the main Moondream YouTube channel has become a member of the YouTube partnership program. I'm super greatful for being given this oppurtunity! It's a bit of a childhood dream come true, even if I haven't earned anything from it yet. Money isn't the main goal of what I do online anyway. I just love sharing my weird projects and views on technology with the world. I'm glad I've been able to do it in a way that's resonated with so many people. Sometimes I feel like I'm in a bubble, being a relatively young person interested in all of this old school stuff. It's a breath of fresh air to be able to share these hobbies of mine, and interact with people that have simular interests. Thank you all for coming along for the ride, and I can't wait to show you what comes next!
- Kelyn Sturgess (Moondream)
Streaming KMDP-TV Online
Online Streaming System In Development For KMDP Programming • 9/11/2026
◆ We are in the process of brainstorming a solution to stream our program line-up live, right here on this website. Fieldstation 42 and ErsatzTV are pieces of software we are considering for organizing our programming. Feeding the video they generate, live through the internet for public viewing will be a challange. The plan is to embed a live video player onto the "Watch Live" page of the site, so people can watch us from anywhere! It will take time to figure out all of the kinks needed to accomplish this, so please be patent. We most likely won't publish the live feature until the rest of the site is finalized, and we move to our own domain outside of Neocities. If you have any feedback/insight on how the live feature should be implemented, fill out the survey form linked at the bottom of this page, or contact us!
